It would be nice to hear from long-time members here with where they are, what they're doing, etc.

I'll start. Kathy and I sold our house in Grand Junction in early 2019 and moved to Amelia Island, FL. It's a small barrier island at the NE tip of FL. We're a short walk to the beach and love it here. Kathy retired several years ago. I keep trying to retire but what I do is in very high demand with a limited supply of people, so I'm still working part time from home and occasionally traveling, and I plan to fully retire by the end of this year. After logging over 3 million miles on Delta Airlines flying all over the world I don't miss the work travel. The only four wheeling here is on the beach or in mud, which doesn't interest me, so we don't do any 'wheeling now. We do spend time on the beach, play a lot of golf, and travel for fun. Our kids and grandkids (all teenagers now - ugh!) are still in ID and ND and love coming here to visit in the winter. We DO NOT miss snow and cold.

Here's my current toy:

Good hearing from you Steve!

I'm still here turning Oxygen into Carbon Dioxide ....

- Still in the same house in Denver Tech Center area for almost 20 years
- Haven't flipped houses in a while, but still doing what I like managing the reconstruction of dwellings
- Along with Jodi's CPA, MBA, Masters in Childhood Education, Owning a Non-Profit, Owning her Real Estate Brokerage (we don't use it much) and her Farmer's Insurance Agency (5 years), she's ready to sell the Farmer's agency and move on to something else. For God's sake woman, just no more school please.
- Oldest (Trey) is 18 and figuring out life; Youngest (Court) is 13 and a pretty well known basketball player around
- Jodi and I have similar toys which are our DD's; modded and tuned Audi S6 & S7
- The wife also snuck in this dog that just turned 4 and he's a pain in the ass ... the breed isn't supposed to bark and he won't shut up; hates other dogs, not supposed to be aggressive but he is, etc. --- definitely a defective mongrel of a creature

I moved away from Colorado in 2013 for several reasons including hatred of cold weather and stupid laws being put in place etc.

I have never stopped doing of roadish stuff but it has changed mostly to sand dunes although i did go to SMORR in Missouri a little over a year ago with an old friend from Amarillo for the Jeep Jamboree thing there and i highly recommend it. It has everything from mild to wild including buggy only stuff.

I have gone through several different toys from 4-wheelers to sand rails to side by sides since moving from Colorado and just recently sold my YXZ1000r and am looking for my next sand toy currently.

I spend my extra time now mainly working on building a 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA 390. I have the engine and trans ready to go in and almost have the car stripped down enough to go to media blasting.

I have been on this forum for 20+ years WOW. Join date is not correct due to the server failure years ago, when people got reset.

Started in Colorado, left after 40 years and due to work moved to Sacramento- Seattle and now Salt Lake.
Lived 1 hour from Rubicon-- went a few times, no wheeling in Wash and none so far in SLC. Going next week to Elephant Hill Trail in Moab/Canyonland area-- excited

i stop by every day to see if any resurgence occurs :)

Still alive. Jason’s health has pretty much ended wheeling, but I’m commuting to COS in the same jeep.
We mostly ride the tandem bike now.

Yeah, I work in the springs again, waiting for my clearance again. Got it back to what I had almost immediately 8 years after letting it go, but the next 2 levels aren’t so quick, but in the meantime, since I can’t do the work I have to be in special places to do, I get to work remote almost at will. For instance, right now I’m riding the old Monon line to Indy so I can see the eclipse I’ve been looking forward to for…52 years?
…and I’m working my way up to expert in cloud computing.

Suzanne STILL hasn’t dumped me. Weird.

Changed jobs last summer, left Wells after almost 15 years to be able to work remote. Still in financial services, but now I support small investment firms as their Chief Compliance Officer. Working on moving out of the city and up to the mountains, we bought some land between Hartsel and Tarryall with the assistance of old school CO4x4'er Alpine Spirit at the end of 2018 and have been building an off grid custom log home that we broke ground on in September 2020. Pam is still with her same company and gets to work mostly remote so we're in the mountains about as much as in the city now. Still have my ZJ, bought another ZJ in 2018 that sits more than my other one. Picked up a '51 CJ-3A last summer that I'll bring up to the cabin soon to cruise around on the FS roads behind us. Need to get a shop built up here and then we'll make the jump to full time mountain living.
