Well looks like I missed something so as it seems things have moved along. I first found this place while still living in Japan and was making plans to come back and buy my Jeep. The folks here were the most helpful on buy and mildly building my Jeep. Thanks to all and especially Eric for this place.

IMO, this has been the best place to be online for 25 years as I was in the original 100 before the crash. Ditto on the sentiments of Allen and Bill. Those are friends I will continue to have because of this site.

Eric, you are a rockstar and we have a ton of gratitude for you hosting us all of these years.

I need to figure out how to capture the Random Thought thread, lulz.

I will remember many of the members who faded away.
I will remember many of the members who got their feelers hurt and ran away.
I will remember many of the members who got banned in an entertaining blaze of glory.
I will remember some of the funny drama relationship threads and others that drew entertaining attention.
I will remember the moderators keeping the rest of us in check.

I made countless friendships here that are still long-going ... Sold Jeeps / rock buggy / household furniture / bought stuff, etc. here..... My family has conducted countless Real Estate transactions because of this site that helped provide our living and fostered valued relationships.

I'll likely keep peeking in as long as it lives, but Thank You for your hospitality Eric!

Cheers to all

Okie dokie. I guess we are back for good....ish. Eric, thank you. We are up to an even 30" of rain for the last 180 days with more thunderboomers coming, pretty much for the foreseeable future.

I still check-in every once in a while. I still meet up with people I met “here” 20+ years ago!
Literally the form changed my life.
Thanks Eric.

If all of you people who check in every once in a while would maybe post up more, maybe it wouldn't be dead. I don't meen that to be rude but we know lots of people still looked here but the three of us who were still posting at least something on mostly a daily basis hoping it would come back to its previous glory just finally gave up.

The tanker base went through its 1 millionth gallon of slurry a couple weeks ago. We hit a new daily record and a new monthly record on our gallons pumped. The fires are still going, relentless.

afternoon lewns, red flag warnings still going on every day. Fires are still uncontained mostly out here. It looks like they have the fire near meeker controlled nearest to the town, which is good. Yes, I'm going to say this...come on wintertime!

I started listening to Christmas music to get it to cool down. It's not taking much to start a wildfire out here. We had 3 more start just today. If the tanker base hasn't passed it yet, they might have hit 2 million gallons already. Just in the last three months, we have surpassed that in jet fuel.

Thanks for getting that issue resolved, I'm a little leery of websites when the security certificate has issues. Especially when the first post is some gobbledygook with different languages on the title line.

Yes we had the auto-recert schedule set too far apart. Should be good going forward.

I know, I need to look into some of the add ons for screening to try and keep them out. I get notices now when something posts so I ban and delete as soon as I can until then. Really don’t want to go back to manually screening every registration.

I don't check in often, but for a long time this place was a daily stop for me. I like the thought of it still being around, and wish it'd pick back up again.

Maybe I'll start posting trip reports again when my family and I go out. That'll help fer sure. :)

Time to decorate for the city christmas parade of lights. I'm going to try to put 2,300 lights on my rig this year.

All I got was 1,650 lights on it. Unsure how to attach photos without the app. The parade was :bounce3: great!
