I met him at a Jeepster rally in Frisco 15 years ago. I was parked right next to him so got to visit a bit when he managed to stay in one place. I cannot believe it has been this long as it seems like only yesterday. I enjoy seeing his Jeepster pictures pop up on this site from time to time, it is like he is saying that he is still here among us. RIP Hurc!

He was a great guy. My dumbass ex son-in-law bought his Tacoma and then rolled it one morning racing back from his girlfriends house.

You know what's a bit strange is that he would be younger than our kids were he still alive, but we became incredibly close friends in the relatively brief time we knew each other. His death was very hard on me and I will always pause on this, the anniversary of his death, to remember him and his ultimate sacrifice.ASCTLC wrote:So good of you to keep his memory alive like this for those of us who never knew him Steve!![]()

Thanks for keeping his memory alive!

Wow. I can't believe it's been that long. Thanks to a Patriot.Steve wrote:Since it’s Memorial Day, and almost 16 years since we lost him, I figured I’d bring this back to the top. Every year at this time I observe a moment of silence, say a prayer, and sometimes still shed a few tears for a great friend who left us way too soon.

I didn't know him well, but for some reason I had a dream about him last night and he was in my thoughts throughout the day. Thanks
