Smoking with wood chunks?

Post by DaleD »

Anybody in here smoke with wood chunks?
I know a lot that do not anymore and have moved to pellet grills and such. I have a large apple tree in my backyard that over the years has had some branches die and I am finally cleaning them out.
And I'd hate to just throw the big pieces in the trash (1 1/2" to almost 4")

If anybody could use it let me know. With work and all it might take me a week or a little more to get it all cut down.

I do! And apple is one of my favorite woods. I would love to have some.

Dang, that's gotta suck Dale. I'm still loaded down with lots from last time so no need for quite a while. Thanks all the same and hopefully someone else here can and will take advantage of that generous offer.
