War or Depression?

Seems like we are hurtling toward economic meltdown. Do you think this might happen independently and we go through a depression or will the globe opt for another major war to distract/resolve the economic issues? History generally shows that when most of the world is in serious economic distress, everyone starts fighting. Are we seeing the start of that with Russia/Ukraine and China/Taiwan?

The Russia situation makes you wonder if this is what it felt like in the 30's and 40's as Germany just slowly moved into all of the other countries....

War resets economies

Russia and China are absolutely going to make the conquests that they desire. Will we do anything about it? Do we even have the capacity to do anything about it at this point?

not sure what the reason is behind annexing these countries is all about. But my concern is sleepy joe aint going to do jack to prevent it. maybe call him a dumb SOB??
i think we are non players in world events any more and have been relegated to the sidelines
